The Balance section shows your organization’s online revenue and payments. Orders from the box office channel do not appear here.
Balance page layout
Open Balance from the main menu. At the top of the page, your wallets are grouped by currency, so each currency has its own balance.
Below the wallets are two tabs:
- Online transactions is the default tab. It shows your transaction history, including money credited from sales and debited for fees. See Transactions explained for details.
- Events shows total online revenue for your upcoming events and whether their transactions have been released. See Events tab in Balance for details.
How wallet balances work
When a customer buys tickets online, the funds move through your wallet automatically:
- The customer pays for the tickets. For example, a $100 sale is credited to your wallet as a sales transaction.
- Entase deducts the transaction fee from the wallet as a separate fee transaction.
- The remaining net balance is available to withdraw to your bank account.
Your wallet therefore shows the amount available after fees have been captured. To move available funds to your bank account, see Withdrawing funds.
After your events, Entase issues protocols for processed transactions and refunds, together with the calculated fees, and an invoice for the captured fees. For more information, see Protocols and invoices.
Passive wallets
If your organization uses passive wallets, fees are deducted from them while the full revenue lands in your primary wallets (also called active wallets). Keep passive wallet balances positive where possible. A negative balance will not block your account or event sales, but it may result in a temporary payout freeze. Checking your event revenue
You can check your event revenue in three places:
- Statistics shows your total event revenue from both box office and online sales in real time.
- Balance → Events shows online event revenue only, broken down by event.
- Protocols, available as PDFs in the Documents section, show online event revenue, refunds, and captured fees. Protocols include refunds only up to the date they were generated. For real-time revenue figures, use Statistics.
