Setting up your first event

Create and schedule your first event, then open sales by following the three main setup phases in Entase.

description View as Markdown

Set up your first event in three phases: add its content, schedule it in the Program, and open sales. This article gives you the overall flow; use the linked guides for the detailed instructions.

1. Add the event content

Start by creating the event itself in the 3-step wizard. You will add:

  • A description
  • A category
  • Media

Follow Adding an event, experience, or attraction to create the event and complete these details.

2. Schedule the event in the Program

Next, add the event to the Program. Scheduling defines the occurrence customers can book, including its:

  • Date and time
  • Location
  • Pricing
  • Fees
  • Access

See Scheduling an event in the Program for the scheduling process and the available settings.

3. Open sales

After scheduling, open sales for the event so customers can book it. Use Program layout and event statuses to understand the Program and its event statuses. For the actions available on a scheduled event, including managing sales, see Program event actions and settings.

Once sales are open, your event is ready for customers to book.
