Adding an event, experience, or attraction

Create an event, experience, or attraction by adding its description, category, and media, then continue to scheduling when ready.

description View as Markdown

You can add events, attractions, and experiences from the Events section. The same three-step process applies to all of them: Description, Category, and Media.

  1. Select Events from the main menu.
  2. Click .

Step 1: Add a description

Enter the event title and description. You can also add translations.

Format the description and use AI assistance

The description editor supports:

  • Headings
  • Quotes
  • Ordered and unordered lists
  • Bold and italic text
The editor also includes an AI assistant to help with text edits, such as checking typos, adding emoji, and responding to custom prompts.

Add and manage translations

You can offer your content in multiple languages.

For an event created in a language other than English, an English translation is included by default to improve discoverability and AI support. You can edit this translation, but you cannot remove it.

You can add or remove other languages at any time:

  1. Click the + sign.
  2. Choose a language from the languages Entase supports.
  3. Select the added language tab to view its translation.
Each language you add starts in auto mode. In this mode, AI manages the translated title and description. When you change the main content, AI also updates every auto-managed translation.

To manage a translation yourself, disable auto mode for that language. You can then add or modify its title and description manually. The translation becomes custom managed.

Write quality content

The integrated AI assistant may require you to follow some content rules and may recommend others.

Write a clear event title

Your title is the name of the performance, event, or activity people are attending. Keep setup details and promotional information out of it.

  • Keep it clean: do not include dates, venues, cities, or participant names unless they are part of the official title.
  • Use normal capitalization. Avoid ALL CAPS unless it is an abbreviation.
  • Avoid unnecessary quotation marks.
  • Do not include categories or genres, such as "concert" or "workshop," in the title.
  • Do not add promotional labels such as "premiere," "special guest," or "exclusive." Use tags to highlight these instead.
  • Make sure the title accurately represents the event and is not misleading.

Write a useful event description

Your description should explain what people can expect, provide useful context, and help them decide whether to attend.

  • Provide clear, complete information.
  • Structure the content with paragraphs and headings.
  • Avoid broken formatting, including random line breaks and split sentences.
  • Do not repeat the title in the opening sentences. The title has its own field.
  • Fix typos and unclear text. Use the integrated AI assistant when needed.
  • Do not include prices or venue details; you set these up later.
  • Make the description engaging, clear, and informative so people understand what to expect without needing additional clarification.

Continue to Category

Click Next when the content is ready. If Entase finds issues, you may see a separate box with problems or recommendations.

  • Click Fix next to a message to apply its fix.
  • Recommendations are optional.
  • Problems must be fixed before you can continue.

Step 2: Set the category

Choose the category that best fits the event and set the signup type.

You must also set:

  • Event duration
  • Age restriction, if applicable
Optionally, add tags to highlight additional genres, topics, or key people related to the event. You can also use tags for promotional labels, such as "premiere" or "exclusive offer."

Click Next to continue to Media.

Step 3: Upload media

Upload images to represent the event across Entase and when it is shared.

Media typeRequiredRecommended sizeUse
Event posterYes960 × 1345 pxMain vertical image, used in listings, on the detail page, and in other views.
Square imageYes960 × 960 pxSquare event artwork, used in listings, on the detail page, and in other views.
Cover imageNo1280 × 474 pxWide image shown at the top of the event page, above the description and poster.
Social media imageNo1920 × 1080 pxImage for social media and other communication channels; used to generate share previews. Also known as an OG image.

Add the first image

When you add an event for the first time, Entase first asks for the poster image. After you upload it, inputs for the other image sizes appear.

Entase automatically generates the square image from the poster. You can adjust its crop or upload a completely different image.

Crop, edit, or replace an image

To edit an uploaded image, click its edit button (pencil icon). In the dialog that opens, adjust the zoom level and crop dimensions.

To upload a new image, first delete the current one using the delete button (trash icon) at the bottom left. You can then upload the replacement image.

Finish and schedule the event

Click Next to finish adding the event, experience, or attraction content.

You can now either share it with a co-host to add and manage it for you, or click Schedule event to continue in Program. To set its type, date, location, pricing, fees, and access, see Schedule an Event in the Program.
