Program layout and event statuses

Understand the Program page layout, filters, progress bar, event statuses, and local time-zone display for scheduled events.

description View as Markdown

Select Program from the main menu to see all scheduled events, including events shared with you. To add dates to an event, see Scheduling an event in the Program.

By default, the page shows all upcoming events.

Understand the Program layout

Scheduled events are grouped by month. Each event item shows its:

  • Starting date and time
  • Status
  • Progress bar
  • Action buttons

For help with the available actions and settings for a scheduled event, see Program event actions and settings.

Read the progress bar

The progress bar has three stacked lines:

  • Gray shows the event's total capacity.
  • Orange appears over the gray line and shows the total number of booked seats.
  • Blue appears over the orange line and shows the total number of validated seats—people who entered the venue.

The orange line grows when bookings begin. The blue line grows when guests are validated.

Filter the Program

Use the dropdown menu in the top-right corner to choose one of these views:

  • Upcoming
  • Past
  • All

Event statuses

Each scheduled event has one of the following statuses.

Pending

Pending is the initial status after you schedule an event in the Program.

You can lock seats in this status, but you cannot make sales. Use this time to reserve seats before sales start. When you are ready to sell tickets, move the event to Open sale.

For instructions on reserving seats, see Locking seats.

Open sale

Open sale means the event is available for purchases through both Online and Box office channels.

Closed sale

Closed sale means online sales are closed. The event remains available for purchases through Box office channels only.

Finished

Finished means the event is over.

Canceled

Canceled means the event was canceled.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling means the event is currently being rescheduled and will be ready in few minutes. Usually it goes back to Closed sale.

Event times and time zones

For in-person events, Entase always shows the starting time in the event's local time zone. If your time zone differs from the event's time zone, you will see a time-zone indicator showing the event's local time zone.
