Embedding events on your website

Learn how to get the embed code for a single event's dates widget or your full program widget and paste it into your website.

description View as Markdown

Embedding an Entase widget on your website is the fastest and easiest way to let visitors browse and book event dates without leaving your page. New dates you add in the platform dashboard appear in the widget automatically — no code changes needed.

Entase also supports advanced API integration, plugins and coding libraries for developers. To learn more visit the developers documentation.

What you can embed

Entase provides two types of embeddable widgets:

  • Dates widget — shows all upcoming dates for a single event. Ideal for a dedicated event page.
  • Program widget — shows your full event program across all events. Ideal for a homepage or listings page.

Get the embed code

The widget you get depends on where you open the share box: opening it from Events gives you a single-event Dates widget, while opening it from Program gives you a full-program widget.

Dates widget (single event)

  1. Go to Events in the main navigation and find the event you want to embed.
  2. Click below the event item.
  3. In the sharing popup, open the Embedding tab.
  4. Copy the Event widget embed code for your website.
The widget displays all upcoming dates for the selected event and provides seamless checkout.

Program widget (all events)

  1. Go to Program in the main navigation.
  2. Click in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. In the share box, open the Embed tab next to Short link.
  4. Copy the full-program widget embed code for your website.
The widget displays your full program with upcoming events and provides seamless checkout.

Paste the code into your website

  1. In your website editor or CMS, open the page where you want the widget to appear.
  2. Switch to the HTML or Embed editing mode for that section.
  3. Paste the copied <iframe> code directly into the HTML.
  4. Save or publish the page.
The widget is now live. Any new dates you create for the event in Entase will appear in the widget automatically — visitors always see up-to-date information without you touching the website code again.

Tips

  • Dedicated event pages — use the Dates widget on a page built around a single show or production. As you schedule new performances, they surface immediately.
  • Homepage or listings page — use the Program widget so all your upcoming events are visible in one place.
  • Theme matching — if your site has a dark background, choose the Dark theme to avoid a jarring white box.
  • Container width — the widget is responsive. Placing it inside a full-width section and keeping the width at 100% gives the best result on mobile devices.
