# Editing fees for a scheduled event

> Update how processing and additional fees are calculated and split for a scheduled event from its Settings page.

Update the processing and additional fees for a scheduled event from its **Settings** page.

## Open the Fees settings

1. Select **Program** from the main menu.
2. Find the scheduled event item you want to manage.
3. Click more actions button on that item.
4. Click **Settings** to open the settings page.
5. In the **Settings** page, find the **Fees** section and click edit button in the top-right corner of the section. A pop-up with fee options opens.

> If the **Fees** section does not have edit button, one of the following is the most likely reason:
>
> - The event is shared and was created by your co-host. Only the co-host organization can edit the event itself. You can view its settings and manage bookings.
> - Your team role does not have permission to add or edit events. Only `Moderator` roles and above can do this.

> **Note:** For event states where **Edit** appears instead of **Settings**, select **Edit** to make a full change to the event, including its fees. See [Scheduling an event in the Program](/organizers/events-and-program/scheduling-an-event-in-the-program.md).

## Set processing fees

By default, processing fees are included in the base ticket price. In the fee options, choose how processing fees are handled:

- **Included** — the fee remains included in the base price.
- **Charged separately** — the fee is charged separately to the customer.
- **Shared** — the fee is split between you and the customer.

## Add other fees

You can also add additional fees. Set each additional fee as either:

- A percentage, or
- A fixed amount.

Choose whether it applies per ticket or per order.

Use the receipt and wallet preview to check how the selected fee setup affects the customer receipt and your wallet.
